If the U.S want to attack Iran what its going to do is launching cruise missiles from warships and air-strikes from stealthy planes, using conventional jets would be unthinkable because the Iranians would throw everything they have at the U.S raiders using SAMs, and the MiG-29 is the most likely the Iranians would sent out to get U.S air force planes in an event of attack. At the same time, the Iranians could also launch Shahab missiles at Israel in retaliation.
Nice pics PhantomII, but really, I would like to see some more Brazillian ones.
Did the Chinese made those?…cool
Not exactly a small navy, but here are some images of the Vietnamese Naval Riverine Command, they still use U.S-made equipment.
According to the Defence Media Centre today, the Iraqi Coastal Defence Force for the first time will launch it’s sea patrol missions, which include intercepting illegal smugglers and many others who are on the wrong side of the law. The new Iraqi navy has extend it’s patrol range at up 12 miles, and hopefully they are succeeful with their future missions.
I say the Irish Air Corps should go for the EC AS-565….
It really makes me sick when people compare Indian and Chinese techologies without showing respect, China can successfully built many aircrafts is because they started building it long before India, and for that reason China have more experience.
India is quite young in the international aerospace industry and you can’t expect them to achieve something overnight, like the LCA project.
Iron Fist 2004 is really impressive, as the Chinese conduct Iron Fist the Taiwanese are going nuts about a $1.8 billion deal with the U.S over weapons, I think the Taiwanese are really scared right now.
I don’t know the advantage between the Su-30MKI and Su-35, but both offer great ground attack capabilities and it dosen’t matter which, I think they both good.
If the engine, radar, and weapons are all going to be foreign, what is the point of the LCA then?
When a country try to develop an indiginous aircraft it needs to start at some point; engine, radar and weapons can be foreign, and from my point of view, one country can learn from another when it comes to aerospace technology. So the LCA don’t have to be 100% indiginous, but in time it will help India develop better systems for its own planes. 😉
Yes, I got one B/W shot of an underside of an Ethiopian aircraft banking right. The machine wears stinky normal three tone blue camo with Ethiopian markings instead of stars and black four digit number.. Nothing special, really..
It would be nice if you post that Ethiopian aircraft on the thread, so please.
Dude, they have the same thread on CDF…
Thanks for the info, Wanshan.
Its wierd…Belarussian air force using “Russian Star” markings.
Oh yeah, on the subject of Eritrean Flankers, have anyone got Ethiopean ones?
This thread have changed to “Small Navies” so that all of you could share images of small navies from around the world intead of only African ones. 😉
So keep on posting! Thank You
