Just a bit of PS.
What’s PS-ed? (Pic 2 seems of the same series, pic 1 and 4 a bit earlier, without A/C, but taken around the same time. Pic 3 just for showing it is a common angle for a photo shot)

Can the MV 22 really take a AEW radar and a operations suite to accommodate on board operators? I need to find some old articles about adding a self defense canon and how that would effect its capability to carry troops…

it will looks better without the red deck though…
Sure about that? The alternate color tends to be green…

On a second look, the AEW radar on the V-22 looks about the same height or lower than the tail fin. If that is the case, the height of the AEW version will not be more than 5.5m and there will be a 1.5m clearance from the hanger roof.
That CG is VERY old (2001-ish)

As an alternative to the Merlin airframe, Boeing was actively promoting a version of the V-22 Osprey fitted with a palletized version of the Thales Cerberus mission system and the Searchwater airborne radar system under the project designation of TOSS. This evolved Cerebus system could also be fitted to Merlin’s equipped with a rear ramp. See Beedall under TOSS
Just wandering, with nearly two decades since their last submarines being build, how much submarine manufacturing capacity and capability that the Dutch domestic builders still maintain.
None at present. (Even though as late as Oct 2003 Sea Power International reported rumours about negotiations between RDM-submarines and Indonesia. The deal might also include two Moray’s)

Why does/did it have that tankertruck lashed on deck throughout the trip?
Any more pictures of this Type-054B firgate? I couldn’t find similar pictures of this 054B with search. Or is it a different class – a destroyer?
This looks more meaner than the 054A in which the fore deck is filled with the MG & AD missile cells.
Type 054B Batch 2 !?
 speculation upon speculation….
KJ-2000 is obsolete with underpowered thirsty engines. you dont put giant AESA radar (Assuming its AESA as later A-50EI Antenna is enlarged) on unupgraded engines. I am not sure they have old airframes left to make it or even know the conversion.
