“How does an airplane get away from the bloody englishman mark 12”? says the Seafire. “Every morning he is up at the hangar touching me”…I know I will hide in the spruce tree”!!!!!
How was the trip home Mark 12? Still busy with company here this week….soon will be slowing down again for us! Maybe we will see the Ol’ Bird back in the air again soon. Are you enjoying the DVD….We need to get Lauries to him also.

Ashly Ezell asked me to post this photo I took yesterday…he said you men across the pond would enjoy it…so here it is.
Laurie…I got a gift getting made for you I told you I would get coming your way….it will be a week probably before I get it out but it has real sound and moving objects….(one in paticular you will enjoy) 🙂

A better background for you all
Do you gents prefer this background?…..we did a little air to air the same day.

Good job Laurie… (: …the north end of the strip is 3240 the south end is 3140…the hangar is at the north end where the seafire is….here is a birds eye view.

Seafire hasn’t been up lately so I thought I would post a different view of it for you boys…..Here is a shot from the cockpit….Ashley Ezell (Nelson’s boy) must of did some of the work on this as it looks great…is that right Ashley?….(have you been flying IFR lately Ash?)
Bobby
Between Mike and I we will keep them pouring in then….took some video today of Jim flying her in a good quality camera… (Jims’)…. We will send you a copy when we get a bunch made up Laurie…By the way the article in FLYPAST you wrote was awesome…great job!
One more for you Seafire Fans…Hope I’m not boring you with all these photos…feel free to tell me.
Bob
I likes the look of the props on this one…sorry the quality is not so good.
Years ago he went across the pond and visited stonehenge…thought it was fascinating…after a few good conversations with some close friends and a couple bottles of good wine…montana stonehenge was born.
Bobby
Stonehenge will be looking good then… The only motorway by this one is a private airstrip. 😮
Of course Mike always has those airplanes shining…I think he has fallen madly in love with the Seafire…every time I walk in the hangar he is carressing her… 😉

The stones maybe on the lighter side but then us Americans have always been on the bright side 😀 ….you folks built a beauty of an airplane!!!!! Jim says it is now the pride of his collection…it has a sound like no other and it truly is a bird to admire…Well done chaps!!!! We salute you all and it was you boys that got it to be painted in its true colors …it did take some doing from you all to get it done that way and it does look awesome!
Bobby
one more of the mustang in flight….Mike and I did some air to air photos…Jim was in the mustang and we were in a T-34 Mentor
here is one of the corsair…..nelson and jim flew this girl together
warbirds/corsair/mustang
How about these…they are beautiful planes…one of my first rides in a airplane was in this mustang….i loved every 90 minutes i was in it….but almost lost my lunch several times.
Bobby 😮
Well as far as how many airshows she sees I couldn’t tell you…..Jim has flown in a couple with his Mustang and Corsair, but he isn’t one to go from airshow to airshow…as far as it making it across the pond I couldn’t tell you….he has been waiting for this bird to fly now for seven years and I got a hunch it will be here for sometime….on the other hand I have never seen him turn a fellow pilot or aviation fan down to see his collection…..like I said earlier he is quite a man and he respects the warbirds like no other person I know….come across to the good ol USA and I am sure you can see her up close and personal. He is good friends with Nelson and respects his efforts and abilities so one never knows…..this I know Mike his A&P will never let it look like it did before, and Nelson has done an awesome job restoring it.

Hello Gentlemen,
I have enjoyed your posts on my bosses new airplane. Just to let you all know this plane will be well taken care of by Jim and his A&P mechanic Mike. I know some of you have been in contact with Mike and he has shared some info on Crystal Lakes and Jim’s airplanes. We (Jim ,Mike,Jeri and I) get to go check the girl out in about a week or two. I imagine at that time Jim will fly her and go back down in a month or so to bring her to her new home. She will fit in there nicely. Don’t worry about her as Jim is an awesome pilot and has many many hours in warbirds. He truely is an awesome individual. Thanks for your support over the years on VP441 and Mike or I will post some more photos from Montana when she arrives.
God Bless,
Bobby 🙂
