I’m Sure it was over/near Sheffield This afternoon. Only got to see it at a distance but i’m sure it was there.
The worrying thing to me is a film such as The Battle of Britain* gave vintage warbirds a jump start, could all the CGI now used spell the end of real aircraft flying in films? I hope not.
Greece? Just spent more than six hours yesterday waiting to get out of Kefalonia owing to a Greek air traffic controllers strike. Actually got as far as engines running ready to taxi when we were told all Greek airspace was closed for four hours, so off the aircraft and a long wait for Greek airspace to be re-opened, oh great joy in hot weather.:(
