There is even more than this. Iran is a major strategic partner with China. Chinese are pressing hard against any possible military encounter that could destabilize their oil supplies from Iran. Chinese find it hard to find appropriate energy sources to cover the excessive economy growth rates.

True. Same reason why China objected a resulotion or action against the mass murders taking place in Sudan.

Well you really have to ask your self is the Israeli trying to drag US into it’s fight or are the US going to give up on them if the Arab states strike back. By targeting Iran you basically compromised the stability of middle east and not only that but screw up american strategic intentions there. Seemingly the US HAVE NO INTENT TO ATTACK IRAN!

LOL. A nuclear islamic fundametalist regime that claims in public it’s wishes
to wipe out Israel and the Saudi request for a pakistani nuclear umbrella
in case iran gets the bomb; are part of a stable middle east in your warped
opinion? why would the arab states strike back? Iran is not an Arab country
and is a threat to all the rich arab gulf states.
you really have to ask your self why you such an …….

well dan, although I agree with the damn zionists part, I have to say only two F-4E (s) aircraft were in service in 2001 and those are the two that were retired recently.

Alex, I have a picture of two Israeli POWs just before they were traded back, one of them is a pilot, might as well upload it here.

Hezi Shai and Ariel Lieberman were released. Zvi Feldman and Zacharia Baumel are still missing in action, along with Yehuda Katz, who was in a second tank that was also disabled in the same battle.

There was also a Skyhawk that was downed in 82 and the pilot taken as a POW.
For some reason this canopy reminds me of a Mirage III.

well I had to chose between satisfying you guys or keeping an older promise of not going public with these pictures yet … anyway and as a compromise here’s a part of one of them:

So you are the only one in posession of this pics or do the others also had
    to make “promises”

Just for the record both Benjamin Netanyaho and Sharon (both speak Russian) held meetings in Moscow to go after different projects like upgrades toghter. Russia refused and got to greedy and ended up losing more contract to Israel.
Also if the Russians want to be more competative they will have to merge some companies. i know we ll like different Russian designs and all, but in todays world it’s not practical.

Any futher news which F-16 type Israel will field and which version of Su-30
    India would field??

🙁 Not a good wish!!Buisness intrests are OK but wishing something like this is highly unwanted 😡

:p :p :p Welcome to the art of Israeli news. Very often reporters add their
own comments to a news segment, especially when they don’t like someone
(usually anyone who is not left of center in their politics). In this example the statement that got you mad is not a quote of an Israeli official or any one
but the reporters own added misguiding statement. If you watch The Simpsons than watching Israeli news is like watching “Barts People” episode. 😀

Thanks for proving my point so eloquently, alexz. :diablo:

Of course your point is correct. I’m just not sure what is so wrong with
media balance, accountebility and just the plain truth without a bias towards
anyone. I’m sure we can get our biases on our own.

The scene changed when 10,000 people were hacked to death daily for 3 months and the world was silent. It continued to Kosovo where i watch with horror how NATO was attacking a country that was fighting element of AL Qaeda (KLA) WITHOUT a UN approval or vote and the left was silent (Clinton was in power) . Last year when India and pakistan almost went Nuke on each other there wasn’t any “peace rallies” and No Hollywood stars gave any anti war interviews.
So yes every thing changed, i remember as a kid doneting food for the hungery people
in Cambodia were today Darfur doesn’t even make it to news.
As far as Israel is concerned it’s Media are exclusivly leftist (Army radio station ironically being to most leftist of them all). Israel was crushed in the PR war,it lost
it by a KO. Discussing politics and “what the world think about us” is a national pass
time in Israel. So when the media showed it’s biased it pushed centrist Israeli to right
and rightist to the extreme right. Just the fact that you suggest that Israel turned
aggressive with no reason, specially after electing the leftist barak government
shows how badly we lost that war.

Do i have to remind you of the passovef massacre were 30 people were killed while
celebrating passover and the little attention it got comering to Israeli response
in Jenin were much less civilians were killed and every one called it a war crime,
    genocide etc. etc.

A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.
    Winston Churchill
