Well, I see NO reason to fake a Heron plate!
I do wonder why it isnt on the aeroplane mind….!
Bruce
That was my question too!
According to GINFO the Certificate No. is A.2824 – on the plate is No. 1447 ??
Original or fake?

“Sept. 23, 1965 – Dylan flies down and meets the band in Austin at Villa Capri. The band flies down to Texas from Toronto. Their plane was one of two leased by Albert Grossman’s company and was a Lockheed Lodestar that traveled slowly and had intermittent air conditioning. The band called it the “Volkswagen in the Sky.””

“On the road the Dylan entourage usually consists of Dylan, his road manager, a pilot and co-pilot for the 13-seat two-engine Lodestar in which the group travels over the shorter distances (tourist-class commercial jets are used for overseas and transcontinental travel)…”

“PA1, the 50 seat first prototype, first flew on August 10 1995, while PA2, the first N-250-100 development aircraft, began test flying in 1997. Work on a third prototype had virtually come to a complete stop by late 1998 and plans to build a fourth have been scrapped.” http://www.airliners.net/aircraft-data/stats.main?id=257
A bit confusing is that both ac N250-50 and N250-100 had the same reg no PK-XNG
Here is a picture of a IPTN N250 fuselage (maybe a mockup) from 2007
