Well-known US photographer Bill Larkins has been posting quite a few photos on his Flickr pages lately. There are many gems here, dating back to the 1940s and, in some cases, even earlier:

great link, thanks for posting!
Hi Martin, thanks for the information – interesting to know that it was used in Airline service, shame there’s no markings on it. Interesting to see that it’s down as a 10B on airliners.net, but presumably the CAA entry is more correct
Nice photo of a BA L10A G-AEPN

Couple of quick questions regarding the first British Airways;
1) What colour was the registration and lining on the side of the Electra’s and Super Electra’s? I’ve seen a couple of modern colour photos showing it dark red with a black outline, but the REG Davies book has a colour drawing of an Electra with a blue lining and registration
2) Where was ‘Terminal House’ at Victoria, and does it still exist?
Cheers, Rob

Has anyone got any early copies of Wrecks and Relics they could delve into for me?
I’m researching the period 1960 to 1993 and any references to Hornet Moth G-ADMT. During this time it languished at various locations – starting at Stapleford when withdrawn from use, then through Biggin Hill (Air Couriers/Transglobe Airways), the old Gatwick railway station, Redhill (private residential address), New Milton (likewise), Strathallan (the collection – ’75 to the sale in ’81) and Scone (Scottish Avn Trust). Throughout this time, I believe the aircraft was mostly dismantled.
In any case, if anyone has any info of whatever variety about this aircraft, I’d be very glad to hear from them.
Thanks,
Dave

quote by Ron Cuskelly: It is reported that a Heron fuselage is in use as a “hunting lodge” west of Woodbury, Tas. It is my understanding that this is the fuselage of ZK-TAJ.
Again and again one could read this rumor about the ‘hunting lodge” – made of a Heron fuselage.
Anyone with a picture?

Ok, it was VH-CLT c/n14071 – and still no pictures?
Although the source you’ve linked is my own website I’m
not 100% sure what I’ve published there is accurate?
😮 I know, but couldn’t find anything else but Calverton.
A very Merry Xmas to all forum users, if you are like me I have
to work Xmas day so in my down time thought to write-up
a small question I can’t seem to find an answer too:What Grumman facility was the E-2 Hawkeye produced at,
Calverton or Bethpage?I know Calverton produced jet-powered aircraft i.e. the last
of the panthers, the A-6 and famous F-14 so does this exclude
the E-2 Hawkeye?
Please Sir..whats a salopette?
