Wow – great…
‘Lya de Putti’s star interview with The Picturegoer in April 1929 barely disguises a career in decline – despite announcing that she has brought her Packard car and private Avro Avian aeroplane with her for her London debut in The Informer.’

Another one which went missing was G-AEOH, also flown from Walsall by builder/pilot R.C.Streather. I sold it to Roger Windley around 1978 but recent enquiries came up blank. Roger sold it but can’ remember when or to whom.
Maybe a tiny trace:
It’s about a SCOTT A2S Flying Squirrel – 1935, 28hp,
(that once was)

After returning home I googled her and found an interesting master thesis written in 2006 by a student at Lulea University of Technology, Sweden.
Unfortunately it seems like there is no english translation, only the original in swedish.
Get the PDF here:

There are some interesting pictures in the master thesis:
At page 33 there is a picture of Easy Elsie after the emergency landing (looking way better than today).

…only a guess:
Avro Avian 594, with āunlicensed aircraft identification markā 7083
owned by Amelia Earhart, she made a flight across the US 1928 and one station was Glendale (maybe the time and place for the photo?)
There once was a US reg no N6882 connected with an Avro Avian 594
Here’s a second photo of an AW Atlas RCAF 401 with canopy
