    Do you have any other details in your files such as
    where the aircraft came down ?
    Where was Hoffman picked up ?
    Who was he captured by ?
    Where was he held as a POW ?

    Hi Jerry

    Thank you for the response. You have given me a couple of leads I did not know about.

    Regarding your couple of questions, I was told 1942 but it would make sense to check 1941.

    Can you please check your files for names of the survivors ? Was there a Willy Hoffman among them ?

    Ian. The Blitz then and now is in 3 volumes. How do I know which volume to chase up ?

    Jesse. Thank you for that suggestion. I found the Cemetery website and I will follow it up.

    Ian. Thank you for the suggestion. While overseas recently, I met a another pilot who knows of one survivor and wanted to know more of what happened from local sources. I have been unable to find anything so far hence the request for help.
