Neal and Kev, we must have missed each other! I was at Cov for most of last Saturday. My club aeroplane, a C172 Reims Rocket, parks on the grass near AMRA and the Twin Pin. Tried to start up about 1100 but failed and went back then finally got up at 1430.
Think I saw Will in a C152 that day?
I didn’t know it was dress-down Sunday. I was planning on coming smart.
Moggy
You out-dressed Trinny last time we saw each other at Duxford 😉
Co-owner Steve or “Aerotech FLYER” from “the other place” may be coming along also.
Maule booked also. LAC will waive the landing fee if you upload 50l of fuel. I’ll probably get some circuits in also.
BTW, using pictures instead of text is a bit heavy on the old bandwidth, e.g. the “whats new” news section.
I think I must have used the search term “vintage aero club” then having not got any results put in the same plus “VAC”. A few down is the old vac.flyer site. I know better now what “VAC” stands for! 😮
That’s the Bidford Chippy.
Could you redirect visitors to http://www.vac.flyer.co.uk/, which has a higher Google ranking, to the new site please? I was only able to tell what the new address is AW by looking at your pfofile. Hardly an ideal search engine 😀
Looks like you picked the right weekend day. I bet you the mystery guest was from DTY?
That’s better, you’d need turbines to lift that much much weight 😉
Just a thought sconnor, it would be nice if the Trust made some money out of this, it is their aircraft after all. Are you making a donation?
Er, fix the link to e-bay 😉
Presently resolves to: http://www.flyingmachines.tv/%3Cbr%20/%3Ehttp://stores.ebay.co.uk/Aviation-DVD-Store_W0QQsspagenameZMEQ3aFQ3aSTQQtZkm
Hoi sconnor, do your marketing job properly! 😉 😀
The nice people here may likr to know that there is an additional trailer now available featuring Maggie and Mew.
We anticipate our aircraft flying off to Wiltshire about then for its annual. See you if I see you 😉
Have you considered that the Wilksch is a British engine! 😉
Not only does that engine sounds better than the Jab, the spinner is nicer too. See you can get a 2nd-person in the rear seat 😀 Almost like the real thing in that its still a great aeroplane to watch and probably even better to fly. Want one!
WW1 Campaign Medals are now available online. This makes it very easy to search for anyone who served.

I have two matches for Prowse in the RFC both Air Mechanics. Regiment numbers are listed as 3203 and 2672. Where can I find out about these units and what they did?
