…dear boy 😉
Looks like a small budget indy film. I doubt therefore CGI will be involved, which will keep this thread quiet 😉
The nose photo featured on their website is quite a famous shot, is it not? They used it on the World at War iirc.
edit:2000th post – wahoooo! 🙂
Is anyone scheduled to practise this weekend? Will be at DX this Saturday.
http://www.Loop.aero has just done a piece of James May and his Luscombe.
Rob, write to either Ken at FlyPast or Dave at Today’s Pilot (both Key). I don’t know if either browse the forums so your idea may go unnoticed.
…which is the McKillop fold.
I found that I could never get the training area on the chart without running into folds. Halfpenny Green for some reason always ends up near a fold! So I resorted to force. By the way red clips go top and bottom on the left, green clips on the right. I have to know which way port and starboard are 😉
As I understand it to go from a NPPL to a UK JAR PPL, it used to be all of the instruction had to be done at the NPPL phase by a JAR instructor. It may have changed.
If you are after a CPL, far less hassle to do direct for a ICAO PPL be that JAA, FAA or wherever. Shortcuts are often met with complications later.
You can only fly within the UK FIR with a NPPL.
It’s all mentioned on the NPPL website http://www.nppl.uk.com/ under licence allowances. Are you planning to add the SEP rating to your NPPL?
Ooooh
Bourne Ultimatum last week
Very complex arrangement of shots let down by rubbish plot and Matt Damon. I sat rather non-plussed and instead dissected the chocolate from many peanut M&Ms.

A lot of nice, varied conveyances there 🙂
Blimey, quite a repertoire then! 🙂

With the recent CPL/IR, I’ve taken to bolting mine down with bulldog clips. Force over form. 🙂
