Film 4 are again repeating Hero aka Ying xiong.

It’s a Chinese subtitled film, but worth watching for the epic cinematography alone. For example

Only £6 on DVD from Amazon/Play.

There’s only so many times the TVOC project can be discussed the same way. In lieu of an answer to the original question, I think this thread has run its course, don’t you? Otherwise this is the point where we all revert to name-calling and I think we would all prefer to avoid animosity. Happy to re-open if someone close to TVOC has an official answer.

Yes, e.g. the 388th based at Moggy’s airfield did this with B-17s.

I’d love to get my hands on some of Brian’s works. I have had to on occasion proof-read his articles, not only are they effortless (barely a mistake to be found), he entertains and pulls a few rare words on you. I think it would interesting if he were made for a month or two a guest editor for a GA magazine. 🙂

You could try tower@wellesbourneairfield.com, or hop down the airfield and speak to Mick Littler the airfield manager.

Thanks, I do hope that is the case SM. It’s a bit sad I guess, but as a powered pilot I have a thing for engines. They had iirc a good little collection there. New display perhaps, “Engine Development through WW2?”

If you want me to, I can. But if it is done just for fun and doesn’t turn sour, I’m happy to keep it open.

Hi Swift, to be honest it has been a lot easier than I expected, but ask me again in 20 hours time when I have got more time on the actual aircraft. A lot of the concepts are not so difficult – I thought you may have had to be masterly to get through the IR! However there are tolerances within the test which demand you full attention, e.g. level busts and so forth. It was interesting in the back seat on Monday to see some issues coming out that I do, is it human nature or the DA42 causing it?

For most car types, there’s usually a couple of gallons left in the tank if the light has come on. Your best bet is to hit a Mondeo forum.

Got a reference, Roger? The NTSB are the air-accident investigators in the US. I can’t see anything relating to the D.7 on their website though.
