It should be noted that the C162 will only be produced for the LSA (light sport) category in the US. I am hoping though that production numbers are sufficient to warrant a foray into certification. If there was no LSA system or market Cessna would probably not have produced a certified (full CofA) new 2-seater.
You could try the AAIB website though I don’t think they go back their far with their online records. I have however found them most helpful when contacting them by phone or e-mail.
I think Britannia has stumbled on a way to increase the collection. Either that or fooling the enemy into thinking the museum has a larger airforce than advertised 😉
