She plays Haruka, a JASDF SAR helicopter pilot (23) in the new movie “Sora he -Sukui no tsubasa- Rescue Wings” (literally “To the sky -Wing of help- Rescue Wings”).
Her father, Master Sergeant Takayama Kazushi (37), JASDF, passed away when his MU-2S, 73-3229, of Niigata Kyuunantai, JASDF, based at Niigata AB, Niigata Prefecture; crashed on 14 April 2005.

The movie “Sora he -Sukui no tsubasa- Rescue Wings” is scheduled for 2009 spring, with official support by JASDF (F-15, UH-60J) and JMSDF (ships).
The story is based at Komatsu AB, Ishikawa Prefecture, again.
Filmed on location at Komatsu AB, and Shimamatsu AB, Shizuoka Prefecture.
Unfortunately, after she was filmed/photographed in a helo cockpit at above 40 degress Celsius, she was down, and taken to hospital.
Miura Tomokazu (56) plays the SAR squadron commander.

An USN EP-3E ARIES II had a PLAN J-8II Finback air kill, back on 1 April 2001, when China was enemy #1 of USA, instead of some bearded caveman in Afghanistan.

About 10:15, after aborted combat training and returning to base, crashed into roof and side of four-storey residential building, then into alley, on 3rd Section, Fu Long Road, Long Tan Village, Tao Yuan County.
Witnesses claimed main rotor almost stopped before it crashed.
Two crew killed.
Both rescued by local fire-fighters, and taken to ROC military 804th hospital.

About 10:00, metal detector warning light turned on, and after standard trouble-shooting procedure, stayed on.
10:05, emergency landed in riverside park, Da Li City, Tai Chung County.
Aircraft OK.

Soon, UH-1H delivered mechanics from Xin She Base.

On 26 June 2008, at 15:03, the Indonesian AF CASA NC-212-200 that disappeared in Indonesia, carried 18 persons: five crew and 12 passengers.
Amongst the 18 persons are: 12 soldiers and six civilians, three of whom are foreigners: a Hongkonger of British nationality, an Indian, and a Singaporean.
In other words, the aircraft probably carried five crew, seven soldiers, and six civies.
The aircraft was testing aerial digital imaging equipment.
