By trailer truck, retired F-4E moved to ROKAF Academy.

‘On display outside the OPS office of RAF Kai Tak was this Venom FB4 (Reg. WR539).
This Venom crashed on 04 Jul 62, suffered a CAT 5 damage and was written off.
It was later shipped back to UK, and is now on display at the Mosquito Museum.’
] Japanese constitution forbids export of any arms.
Retired SDF arms can be demilitarised and exported, such as Mitsubishi F-104J/DJ that went to Taiwan, via USA.
A more recent example:
23 August 2013:
12 OH-6D.
Former JGSDF.
A company in Toyama Prefecture recently bought 12 JGSDF retired OH-6D.
The company did not comply with the agreement, and did not disassemble or scrap the helicopters, before it sold them to companies in Australia, New Zealand, others.
IFF, radio, and weapons were removed from the helicopters, so the sales did not break the laws against exporting weapons.

When decelerating to resume normal flight, all four engines stopped because fuel not sufficiently supplied.
