Pilots attempted to control aircraft, and ejected when 500 m AGL.
Dai wasn’t wounded.
Kang’s waist lightly wounded.
By 2013, Dai became PLAN J-15 test pilot.
He came from the PLAN unit that, during and after Korean War, claimed 31 air kills.
On 29 December 1965, the PLA MOD awarded it the title Hai Kong Xiong Ying Tuan = “Sea air eagle regiment”.
By 2007, he was the regiment deputy commander.

204th Hikoutai, 83rd Koukuutai, JASDF, based at Naha AB, Okinawa Prefecture.
After scramble mission, after 13:00, landed at Naha AB, left rear tire punctured, and stopped on runway.
After 30 minutes, towed away from runway.
One of flight of two.
Runway closed one hour, or until 14:05.
15 civilian flights delayed or diverted.
Seven departure flights [from Haneda, Hiroshima, Takamatsu, others] delayed three hours.
Eight arrival flights diverted to Ishikaki Island [Okinawa Prefecture], Kadena AB [Okinawa Prefecture], Kagoshima [Kagoshima Prefecture].
Three of these eight flights diverted to Kadena AB.
By 17:30, these eight flights arrived at Naha AP.
Also, two flights from Ishikaki Island and Kumamoto [Kumamoto Prefecture] returned to departure airports, and cancelled.

On 31 March 2013, Blue Impulse will return from Ashiya AB, Fukuoka Prefecture, to Matsushima AB, Miyagi Prefecture.
Blue Impulse had nine T-4.
One was at Matsushima AB, and damaged by tsunami.
Six deployed to Kyuushuu Island for the opening event of the Kyuushuu Shinkansen train, Kagoshima route.
Two were not at Matsushima AB, and were elsewhere for scheduled maintenance.

Repair work begins on stranded island helicopter

Work has begun on replacing parts of a Super Puma helicopter that has been stranded on Tai A Chau for a week after encountering mechanical problems.
On February 5, the crew of the French- made Eurocopter Super Puma, which has been in service for 12 years, suffered mechanical problems while on a training exercise and landed at Tai A Chau, the largest of the Soku Islands, south of Lantau.
The helicopter landed on the apron of the island to await repairs.

Hong Kong Government Flying Service.
During training, pilots suspected mechanical malfunction, and emergency landed at an heliport on a mountain on Dai A Jau (Tai A Chau) Island, amongst the Soko Islands, south of Lantau Island.
On or before 2013/02/12, reporters went to take a look.
Its four main rotor blades and two engines were dismounted, placed beside the helo, and wrapped in plastic.
Guards at the helo, claimed it was awaiting replacement parts.
4 February 2013:

4th Koukuugun, JMSDF, based at Atsugi AB, Ayase City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Above Ayase City, during landing and take off training, bird strike.
After landing, five rivet heads missing from exterior panel at aircraft nose.
11:45, three km southwest of air base, 400 m above Ayase water purification facility, bird strike.
Aborted training, and returned to base.

New Defense Minister Onodera went to Matsushima AB, Miyagi Prefecture, and he hoped Blue Impulse would return to Matsushima AB.
During tsunami, one of nine Blue Impulse T-4 was damaged.
On sea side of Matsushima AB, ground is raised by about three metres.
Two hangars are building.
These constructions will complete by late March.
By fiscal year 2015, 13 of 18 damaged F-2 may complete maintenance.
