JASDF, based at Naha AB, Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture.
125 km east-southeast of Naha AP, cockpit pressure adjust device displayed abnormal. After 20 minutes, returned and emergency landed at Naha AB.
Pilot was not wounded.
Runway closed four minutes. Five civilian flights delayed maximum 48 minutes.

In early 2010, the Shang Hai Hang Yu Zhong Xin (Shang Hai Aerospace Centre) restored a retired PLAN Q-5 82254 displayed at the Tong Ji University.
Despite the cold winter, the pathetic condition of the Q-5, and other difficulties and requirements, the staff worked on-site for two weeks, and delivered it on 25 January 2010.
Back in 2007, the Centre restored a retired MiG-15 at the Fu Dan University.
(Usually, at universities in Red China and Taiwan, such retired warbird displays get scrapped and sold for a few bucks.)

11th FW, ROKAF, based at Southern Combat Command, Dae Gu AB.
While on runway, rear-seater accidentally pulled lever under his seat, ejected rear canopy, and himself to 50+ m AGL.
Major General Choi (56), of ROKAF University at Dae Jeon, was OK. ROKAF Academy, 50th Class grad.
He’s a pilot with 3,000+ hours in F-5. First time in F-15K, to familiarise with new weapon systems.
Repair and replacement of canopy and ejection system cost 1.3+ bil Won.

Attended Kyuunan Kyouikutai flight engineer course at Komaki AB.
2009 December, assigned to current squadron.
2010 May, passed flight engineer certification.
As of 2010 July, about 80 JASDF flight engineers. Ookami is first woman to attend flight engineer course.
23 July 2010:
UAV.
TRDI, based at Ioujima JMSDF AB, Ioujima Island.
9:25, launched from F-15. After two minutes, engine shut down, and remote-controlled to crash into sea, nine km northwest-west of Ioujima Island.
2010 February, lost one UAV. Same trouble.
Two of four UAV lost now. First lost UAV costs 800 million Yen.
This second lost UAV costs 2.5 billion Yen.
Engine igntion uses radioactive material Krypton 85 gas, sealed in two glass capsules. Radiation energy, 107,700 Becquerel.
Capsule diameter, 2 cm. Height, 5 cm.

11:10, during medevac mission to recover mountaineer who had fallen, crashed into mountain, Oku Chichibu Mountain, near Budousawa Swamp, three to four km southeast of Karisaka Tunnel, national route number 140, Ootaki, Chichibu City, Dasaitama Prefecture.
While rescuing a woman mountaineer (55) who fell into a waterfall, helicopter dropped off two crew with a rope, then helicopter crashed.
Seven crew.
Five crew in helicopter, killed.
Two crew on ground, survived.
