A ROCAF Mirage 2000-5 pilot, Major CHEN Jian Liang, was investigated, and confirmed to have committed adultery. In early February, he was given a major demerit.
On 1 March 2010, he was transferred away from flying duty.
In 2004, when two ROCAF Mirage 2000-5s first landed on an highway as an auxiliary runway, amongst the four pilots, he was a Second Lieutenant in 42nd Squadron.
His younger brother is Taiwanese entertainer CHEN Jian Zhou, nicknamed Hei Ren (Black Person).
Their father served in the China Airlines for 18 years, and bought the farm at the China Airlines accident at Nagoya in 1994. After which, CHEN Jian Liang applied for the ROCAF Academy.

ROC MND announces, collaborating with ROC MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), a retired ROCAF F-5 is donated to the Yanks Air Museum in Los Angeles, USA.
The ceremony is scheduled at 11 AM, on 26 March 2010, L.A. time.
In December 2008, the museum requested the ROC MOFA for one F-5 and two engines.
A retired F-5 was repainted, shipped out of Keelung Port on 25 November 2009, and arrived on 13 January 2010.

JMSDF new training helicopter French Eurocopter TH-135 will be based at Kanoya AB. Helicopter pilot training courses will concentrate at Kanoya AB.
Number of flights and personnel at AB will increase.
TH-135 is 12 m length. Each 700 million Yen.
Already domestically used as Doctor Heli and by media.
Current fiscal year, two TH-135. In 10 years, intended to increase to 15.
Nine OH-6D will gradually retire.
Currently, the helicopter pilot training unit, 211st Kyouiku Koukuutai, is at Kanoya AB. Before piloting helicopter, basic training is at other AB.
By integrating new helicopter, instrument flight training in Tokushima Prefecture will transfer to Kanoya AB, for efficiency. Training duration at Kanoya AB increases from nine months to one year three months.
Number of students and instructors will increase to 100.

After take-off, engine caught fire, and disabled flight control. Although the plane could’ve exploded anytime, the pilot stayed in it for 42 seconds, attempted to memorise the instrument displays, and ejected when altitude was down to 200 m.
Pilot was wounded, and hospitalised for four months.

At about 10,000 m, wingman misheard command, and collided with leader.
Wingman ejected, but don’t know about leader.
Wingman was XU Yong Ling.
In 1989, Xu was approved for test pilot training. In late October 1993, he and other PLAAF test pilots went to Russia for more test pilot training.
Later, his adventures included: at 15,000 m, flew in clouds, and instruments malfunctioned because of low temperature. During a rain storm, landed with visibility below 200 m.
By February 2010, he’s test-flown J-10 for six years.

Six crew and 29 passengers.

Eight arrival flights delayed 15 minutes.

9:35, at the ammunition operation centre, one 20 mm training round [length, 17 cm] used by F-15, cracked, and fragments wounded a 23 years old, male Staff Sergeant’s right hand.
The soldier was putting the training rounds into wooden boxes, and stacking them. 100 rounds per box.
JASDF presumed cause was shock of stacking boxes, or static electricity.

8:50 to 15:00, flew two training flights to sea, 100 km southwest of base, and a component fell off.
