    Earls Colne B-26 fuselage

    Hi guys!

Was looking through some old photos of mine recently, and came across this photo, which I took I think, in 1985.

I had been looking for it before to help with an R/C scale build project of mine, but was nowhere to be seen. I found it purely by accident the other day with a bunch of other pics. I only took one photo, and wish I’d taken more now..

    Here it is!

And for those who might be interested, a video of my build of Rivenhall based B-26B ‘Big Hairy Bird’

Anyone out there PLEASE have any scale drawings of the Carvair they would like to share?
I want to build a large scale radio controlled model of this fine machine.
I used to live on the approach path to Southend Airport and have many fond memories I’d like to re live with a working scale replica.

    Many thanks

    Matt

I’m looking for bulkhead drawings too if possible please.

Sadly G-BABB Cessna 150 was destroyed Wednesday whilst on a solo flight with a 16 year old student pilot. It crashed into a park after apparently stalling into the ground, but is speculative at this stage until fully investigated.

Thankfully no one else was injured, but the pilot was killed on impact.Condolences to his family at this tragic time.
