There is an excellent page on FB called ‘BF-109 Projects and Restorations’ run by a man called Mickael Rabilloud who is restoring an ‘F’ (Wn10256) to fly. Amazingly, he has found quite a few new o/s parts for it!
He’s a busy man – he’s also restoring a P-40 and has a seperate page for that

I know it’s a replica, but Kermit weeks has a flying Benoist XIV. The design was the first aircraft to fly scheduled services in 1914!

I’m pretty sure i saw Paul Allen (of Microsoft fame) mentioned as the owner, and I read years ago in the much – missed (by me at least!) Warbirds Worldwide that he had bought one and was planning to convert it into a proper ‘einkel!
