Any news?
Has no-one else realised that they’re just colour WW2 pictures from the Boeing factory?:)
Just fantastic work! Can’t wait to see it!
Thanks for the updates, folks!
That’s a real shame. And what happened to the Red Star Rebels?
It’s not particularly important in the context of the thread, but I stand by MY comment re- spellings below. And the Lt Cdr’s name is given as both ‘Götke’ (in body text, probably correct) and ‘Gotke’ (in a heading – possibly not, due to unicode/website coding stuff) on the RNHF website, but I understand (unless his family take a variant spelling) it should be Götke or Goatke, as per my earlier explanation.
Regards,
My apologies! I didn’t see your earlier explanation and got the spelling from the RNHF website!
I am fully aware of who the current RNHF Sea Fury pilot is thank you !! Perhaps you should read my previous post properly and understand it before offering smart a**e replies !!
Did u take that personally?? I saw it spelt ‘Goate’ at least twice! (And not by you!)
Unless the RNHF have suddenly acquired another pilot with with a very unusual name, its likely that the pilot flying the Sea Fury was Chris Gotke!
Just hope it landed in one piece!
Thanks for the great photos, although this reminds me that it’s been ages since I’ve seen anything from Mattias Dorst. That was probably my favourite thread on the whole forum 🙁
Mine too! Very badly missed!
Pitch control must be interesting
Looks great! So glad its been Finnished!
Well done Ms Hendricks and team!
A lot of air forces bring transports over. It would be a great opportunity to pop really rare historics in the back and bring them to a biggest audience
Surely someone can make this happen?? Fingers crossed for the gentleman
Somehow appropriate that the ‘new owner’ appears to be a ghostly figure!
