Sorry about this one as well,

Irishman comes over to the mainland to work on the roads, after about 3 weeks he phones home to see how she is keeping. Just before he rings off he asks her if she is missing hime and how is she getting on with the vibrator he bought her She replies “OK but it’s knocked 3 of me teeth out so far”

Q? Why do women prefer men

Answer Because vibrators can’t buy a round of drinks

Can’t give you details on rudders as you will need to speak to some one in the know. All I know is that there were 3 sizes of rudder apparently.

All jets should be scrapped and recycled into Spitfires I was going to include scrapping P51’s but the American matearial spec would fall far short of the standard to build Baby buggies never mind aircraft

Perhaps if she gives the Fury engineer a hug he would then be too busy to want to finish the project

The wood would have originally have been coated in a varnish or a coat of red dope, the fabric would then have been applied using red medium/ non taughtening dope and the build up coats would have been the same red dope. A silver coat/s would then have been applied. Originally I believe tinted dopes would have been used to give fabric surfaces thier top colour, nowadays after the silver coat a cellulose grey primer is used followed by cellulose top coat. It should allways be cellulose for ease of making fabric repairs to control surfaces.
