Well the A-29 would be the new Co-In a/c of the world IMHO but I’d like to see what the new attack version of the Pampa is going to be like.

As you can imagine, I want to get it right because it’s going to an important home, perhaps when I go to Melbourne at the end of this month, I could make a trip over to Point Cook and have a look in the Phantom that’s there.

Warship: Thanks mate they look really nice, would love to get a look around inside one of them, perhaps the RN could do what the RAN has done inrespects to virtual tours of their ships

Ahh Steve, I have that pic and the one with the A-4’s flying to the mooon, very funny.

Glenn, good answer mate. The reason I ask this is because I noticed the icon for the Naval Forum being and old destroyer and I was thinking of partitioning the Admin group to reflect something more inspiring.

Hahahahaha mate it’s been a long time since I drank a drop, but anyway, I took the liberty, here you go, now tell me if you can see him.

His leg is in red pants and he’s wearing a white top!

I guess I picked up on it mainly because it looks like my brother back when he was 4.

Thanks Dazz, The guy said that it had dropped bombs in Vietnam, I was hopping to find out if this was true or not, I think it is possible. I’m going to be mounting it and donating it to our local ex-service members club, they have a really good collection of stuff there and this is the only area they really lack stuff in.

I like the second pic with the moon in the background, it is a nice looking plane, and lets hope that it’s troubles are now over!

Now all we have to do is fix the I-23 and we’d be right again 😉

Thanks guys, I’m thinking along the same lines Glenn, it’s become a common factor that when we buy something, the kiwi’s buy the same thing mainly for logistical reasons (which I fully understand).

I know that the retired Singaporean Fenecs have been offered to NZ, as a replace ment for their ancient B-47G’s

Sev: Mate that model isn’t too bad, I can see that a lot of work went in to it.

As for the Viraat/ Bonnie swap, it can happen, remember back then ocean watching from the skies (sattelites) wasn’t as advanced nor as many, so it may have happened. If it did, then the Brits would know something about it as well, and since Viraat is now a museum piece, you could cross reference the actual hull number with those on the British records and have your answer, finally.
