Of the Sub Sarahan African navies, Iad say that Both Kenya and Nigeria have very powerful naval forces, but definately the South African Navy is the greatest here. They are the only Sub Sarahan nation to employ Submarines.

Nigeria was to have bought a couple of Foxtrots back in the 80’s but something happened and they were never delivered. To my knowledge Kenya has never had any real interest in Sub forces, they have a powerful fleet but hardly any money to keep it at sea.

Arer there any shots out there of the interior of these vessels? Not only the dock area but also the crew area?

The RQ-4A Global Hawk has the dorsal mounted intake and it flies just fine. Blow in Doors would be very complex in designing and take up a lot of room normally needed for fuel, it would basically be a reverse of the F-35/Yak-44 system- instead of air going out, you would be sucking air in.

I suppose if you bury the intake into the upper surfaces and cover them in a mesh (aka F-117) then it maybe possible, but not on fighters.

Hey mate it’s cool, I’m glad to talk about other things than Russo/Sino/Indo/Pak/US stuff for a change, that’s why I posted this stuff here and the Irish Navy (which no one has even looked at 🙁 )
