Yeah thanks mate, umm for some reason that thread doesn’t work on my computer!
Thanks Ken, maybe that’s why they asked for the American’s to help out, they did have a lot of money till Bush came into power!
That Skorpion seems to have HOTAS that’s got to be a big improvement over the 39 hasn’t it? And most of those displays look western in origin.
Also they look cool like flying saucers….
Speaking of which, have any of you heard about the Russians and Americans collaborating on a joint project reguarding flying saucers? I heard it on the news down here last week.
A spare parts pool (engines, radar, Phoenix etc) would be more useful… Not very likely to happen though…
Why not mate, Pakistan did it with their role in Afghanistan and now they are getting bits and pieces for their US made stuff!
well from what I’ve read, yes the first one has finished it’s refit and has now gone on to the trials service of the Japanese government, what I think they are talking about it the actual inservice date which has slipped due to the governments trip to Iraq which was not forseen during the Kai upgrade start time!
Anyway the first Kai has taken to the air, so that’s good news.
I think what was meant is that there are no A-10’s on station atm, that’s why the F-15’s were called in.
We did a thread on this when it was getting built, still it’s on my to visit list when I go back to china! Nice to see what they finally finished it off with, I think the real question should be, are those Q-5’s retired or just on load for a time?
Careful mate, Bush might read this 😉
Besides, Affleck was shot down by the Bosche, and in that film he praised them for their skills!
Anyway I think this was posted in the wrong forum, but good joke!

Look forward to seeing it!
Our Pigs still have the capsule system and that includes the G’s that we bought from the USAF. Infact I don’t know of any F-111 varient that had normal ejector seats, if there were any could someone supply a pic please!
I’ll dig through my collection of RAAF pics and find the ones showing the capsule if you like.
Art: I know you are getting old now mate, there is no sader II in any of these pics, that last one is a regular run of the mill A-7 Corsair II!
ANyway I thought you of all people might have some info on the V-33
Very interesting mate, what more do you have on that V-33?
Here are some pics for you, I know the two fixed wing planes have a rather messy Addition on them, but those shots were taken before the actual “Police” titles were applied to them, they now have them on there.
