Yeah guys I’m buying one of them and I’m really looking forward to it too, on the Seawind website (before it went down for some reason) they had a pic of one that a guy in the US had bought just to go fishing in, he’d attached a two stroke trolling motor to the side of the cockpit and putted around the lake with it.

As soon as I saw that pic I knew that’s the one for me, I’d be able to take my dad out for a real fishing trip, maybe catch a couple of Barramundy with it which is my favourite fish to eat!

As for the speed of the seawind 3000, I did say that I was skeptical about it’s claims, but I can confirm that it’ does hold the speed record for the type in it’s catagory- perhaps that’s what they are talking about!

I’ve been reading conflicting information about this as well, it’s like the American’s are wanting to push the GE on everyone so that they can keep in business!
