Hi Kev, it’s been a while mate, good advice I’ll let him know.
He does have an SA dagger in his collection, but he’s keeping that.
what is the orange thing on rail launcher in stern deck of the INS ganga ? is it a towed torpedo decoy or a torpedo itself ? imo its a towed decoy.
Yeah you are right about that mate, it is a decoy, notice the decoy launcher next to it as well. with a closer look, you can actually see two of them there.
What about some of the Eastern stuff? Ka-25’s, Ka-27’s or even the mighty Mi-14’s, can’t someone post some pics of those?
That is one nice pic, you know out of all the A$$ and trash haulers the herky bird has to be my favourite, and having been used by so many countries it’s safe to say that it will be around for some years to come!
Good one Gaz
Shalom, Ma Shalomekh, Tov?
Tove toda 😉
I have friends in Israel as well.
Seriously, everyone should keep drawing stuff, who knows oneday someone might look on this board and see the talent as ask us to work for them.
I’ve got a plan in the works right now and you’ll fogive me if I don’t post it, but I am trying to build it and market it. I’m not saying much but I know there will be a market for it.
Layla tov!
I posted those a long time ago, but thanks for doing it for me
Hi JA long time.. 😛 hope all is well with u dude.. Nice pic btw.. Just one thing, whats it doing??
Hi Matt: things are getting better, my dad will have his surgery next year now. And after talking with the Surgeon it seems fairly straight forward. For me personally, things are pretty much up and down, but this is the SILLY season, gee I hate Christmas.
Anyway on with the show. That Seaking from Canada is taxiing, what else would it be doing mate? You know they can land on water, don’t you 😉
Anyway here are some other pics of a nice little piece, the SH-2G’s of the world.
SH-2G(NZ) Would hate to be on the end of that one![]()
It’s also interesting to note, the best way to tell the Kiwi models from any other is by the fact that it has four hard points on the rigging with the brace strut support, this allows them to carry the Mavericks as well as extra fuel, these would make them the longest ranged of all the Super Seasprites in an offencive role.
SH-G(A) During the Penguin missile trials 😉![]()
SH-2G(US)
SH-2G(E) The Egyptian models are the only ones left in the full ASW role, note the dipping sonar and torps![]()
Poland has Four SH-2G(P)’s these are utility models and have no dipping sonar, but do still have a weapons capability, not to mention various Polish radios installed, Can’t seem to fina a pic of one just yet.
