Phil: Mate I read the same thing somewhere as well, they are buying 11 C-17’s including the 4 that they already have. Those four have really impressed the RAF and the government with what they’ve done in Iraq and Oman (during the excercise before the war) and since they are already at the half way mark for their flight lease, the poms have decided to buy them and more.

The C-130J’s are going to be kept- they’re a national heritage not only there, but all around the world. Personally I’d love to see one in Russian markings 😉

As for the A-400, well that is so drawn out that I can’t see it in service before the turn of the next decade.

Well every country has one don’t they, down here in Oz we had a guy that used to race Pigs at RAAF Amberley in his Lamboghini Countach, he’d damd near win too, right up untill they took off he led the race.

The authorities told him to cut it out, they said that if he were in an accident, they wouldn’t be able to get him out because of the way the doors work on those cars, so he solved the problem, he cut the doors off. This inturn effected the performance of the car, and he started loosing by a bigger margin, so he put the door back on and had a bad accident, and ended up giving it all away, especially since they had to cut his legs off to get him out of the car.

This car is exactly like his one, only it’s an American one, they have the wheel on the wrong side.

Wonder if they’ll paint them in a nice desert camo style, that would be nice to see.

The RNZN’s SH-2G(NZ)’s can fire Mavericks, not sure what the Polish are going to use on their ones and only torps are used on the Egyptians Super Seasprites.

Only just heard about J’n’B from a friend in Southern California, sounds unapealling to me, give me good home cokking any day. If any of you are coming down under, I invite you to come and eat at my place, I make the best food… Beef Stroganoff, Asian Style cooking (especially Laksa), Italian to kill for, or even a nice Lemon, Dill Roast Chicken with creamy mashed potatoes and steamed Veggies and a gravey that is to die for. Excuse me, I have to go eat now, I just made my self hungry 😉

Oh and as for all that fast food, WHO (World Health Organisation) has found that most of the Fast food has excessive amounts of sugar in it, so dietry problems will occure later on in life such as diabeties and obecity. Look at America now and Australia is now second, Huge Fat people walking around, no Rolling around everywhere, Not healthy and very sad to see.
