Oh go home the lot of you!!!

We only get a sorry collection of planes down here 🙁
The best we got was when the Russians finally brought the SU-27 down back in 92 and the USAF FLEW a BUFF over the crowd in 94, it didn’t even land 🙁
The usual stuff that appears of any interest: RAAF Stuff, RAN stuff Army Stuff, C-5B (USAFRES), AN-124 (hired), C-130’s from Indoneasia! We don’t even get many Warbirds the Best we ever had was an ex-RAAF Canberra, which is now static at the new aviation museum at Bankstown!

Man Australia Sucks!

Recruit training, a global phenomenon

Steve, that sounds exactly like my time at HMAS Cerberus, the RAN’s training major facility! I look back on those days and have a bit of a smile, cause I look at where I am now and where those poor suckers that stayed behind and I can’t help but think, Gee life is good now!

I was released from the madness that is the RAN after only 2 years of a 6 year stint, I got retrencehed, they closed down my section and all the other sections that I was interested in so I did the wise thing and left! Sure I was sad at the time, but I don’t regret any of it now, especially after I found out about what most of the guys I joined up with got up to and where they are now (Hollsworthy Military Prison, the Tank or Rehab), fun :/

Ben thrie profit soared, up 42c to nearly A$4.50.
Like I said to everyone, there is another A/L waiting to take off in April, called Spirit!

It’s not the end of cheap fares yet!

Kelly, Sweetheart Pic a place and you can find Beaches and Airports very close by, In fact most of the coastal airport are right near a beach of some sort! I love flying in to belmont AP up in Newcastle, You come in over a beach and leave over another!

Rabs and Gef, good luck to you both, I want to concerntrate on my work, not on my points!

Hmmm!

What about all the other Airlines that have gone out of business? Sabena isn’t the only one, hell why not Ansett or Impulse or even Compass?

I’m starting to get the feeling that this newsletter is a European’s only type of thing. Sure it’s sad that Sabena went down, but they won’t be the first, nor the last! Is it too hard to make a logo of your own? I will help, my fiance is a graphic designer!

Seriously, don’t turn this into a memorial Sabena letter!

I’d like to see!

Some things I’d like to see!

1. Bombing of Darwin!
2. The PNG campaigne
3. The Rats of Tobruk!
4. A story done from the enemy’s point of view (more along the lines of the political side, the decission makers. Admiral Yamamoto’s story or the Romel files)
5. the story of the Admiral Graf Spee!
6. Opperation Barberossa!
7. The Mini sub attack on Sydney Harbour
8. the IJA getting lost in out back Australia (As seen from the koorie foke)
9. Englands retreat accross the lower asia and into India
10. Some of the war comic stories (AirAce, Comanndo)

Kelly, I support what you say!, the person could had refrained themselves alot more than this, and I don’t think this person Knows what they are on about anyway!

Another fact, why is most of their detail hidden? What are they trying to hide, I mean you can’t even send them an email cause they never entered one in!!! I like being called sugar cause it takes me back to a time where aviation was at its greatest (WWII) 😉
As for the Maldives, I’m jealouse that I wasn’t there drinking cocktails with you sweetheart 🙂

I have no problem with your writing, as I have indicated in your ratings awhile ago. Personally I think that she is upset that you are much more aware of what’s going on than her!
