I have heard the federal opposition saying that they are not happy with this system either and should they come to power a review on the purchase will be one of the first things implimented and following an evaluation with a step by step adjenda they will then decide wether it is feasable to pull out and opt for something else.

One thing that is really worring both the ADF and the opposition is the fact that the current government seems to be happy to have capability gaps in defence whilest sending troops on deployments way outside our shere of influencew and then letting problems pop up on our door step.

Well the Swiss v South Korea match was fast paced and good watching, sadly the Red Dragons go home now, but they did tend to have a habbit of just stopping and standing still just like a pack of Hyundai robots, how odd! Group H is an any mans race for second spot. Just watching Ukrain battle against Tunisia and neiter are putting their heart into the game, really disappointing. More games like last nights matches would be nice (especially the Aussie one).

What a match, Simunic getting the three yellow cards, what is that all about? Poll lost the game and I really have to agree with Tom, His days as a ref are numbered, especially in the Cup. The best part of the match I liked was when the second yellow card came for Simunic, just before he did his nut at Poll, Viduka came over and gave him a hug, talk about funny!

The Brazilian/Japan match is impressive as well, Ronaldo scored, twice even. I thought the Japanese would have mistakenly eaten him thinking he was a whale.

Sounds like the UK are going to buy A BBJ and possibly a small fleet of Clallenger 604’s just like what we have done down here.

Why shouldn’t India be allowed to make parts or assemble airplanes? Some 150 F-16s were assembled at Turkey’s TUSAS Aerospace Industries facility. If it was done in the 1990s, it can be done now.
