Just checked the prices from Jersey and it works out about the same, boat leaves on the Friday evening and it’s a 4 hr drive from St Malo as the Porsche flies. Ferry is about £160 plus petrol.

I may be tempted, but depends on timing and costs.

As far as I am aware and I stand to be corrected, here in the Channel Islands I only have an expat vote for a maximum of 10 years.

I lost my ex-pat vote 5 years ago, however I would vote otherwise I don’t feel you have a right to crititise. Mind you out of all the parties I have no idea who I would put my cross against.

We watched his exploits the other evening, I thought it was great how he snubbed Clinton after he turned up at Olivers restaurant with an extra 14 people and insisted on burgers and salmon being made available on the menu.

Despite the pleading to meet the former President, Oliver just said “I’m going home to my wife” and went.

I’ve heard on the grape vine this afternoon that HAC’s Spitifre and Hurricane will be visiting Switzerland in August this year as will the Storch. Do you think if it left now the Storch will be there in time ?
