The Not Sensibles

I’ve heard pretty reliably that G-AGOI (Westland’s own Whirlwind) was used for fire training at Yeovilton, then pushed down a bank at the edge of the field, and subsequently covered in soil excavated when a swimming pool was constructed nearby.

It is apparently buried beneath one of their hangars.

Ah I stand corrected, my Geographical knowledge of the American sub continent is very limited.
