I PM’d Snapper earlier and told him that I have fair reason to believe that it’s somesort of political crackpot. The nearby synagogue was daubed with the same cr@p a few months ago, and I’ve been told that one of the local observation towers has been spray painted as well recently.

Yes, British Pathe News have some real gems in their archives. Only trouble is they want £25 per clip (not per video) if you want a VHS cassette and not even DVD!!!

They sent me my video of the Whirlwinds free of charge !!!!

My favourite bit of Pathe footage is of the 263 Sqn Whirlwinds taken at Angle South Wales in 1942, very rare footage indeed.

It was noticed that at one point VoyTech and his entourage were not paying much attention to the airshow, but to two members of the fairer sex, I kept my distance as I didn’t want to cramp their style. However it was noted later, that in conversation over a pint at the Plough Inn after the show, he rated the Polish version of the fairer sex to be of a much higher quality that it’s English counterpart and claimed these two “ladies” as honorary Poles.
