I have three prolapsed discs, I went through an MRI scan to ascertain the problem and was advised by the specialist not to have physio which could cause more trouble than it’s worth. He advised to put up with the discomfort and in time the disc will shrink back. Which has happened and though I do get the odd twinge every now and then, I really do not notice.

He did say that if I start to suffer discomfort down my right leg to have it looked at immediately as it will more than likely be that the other side of the disc has become pro-laxed and this would then involve surgery.

Sorry if this has been said been mentioned else where, I couldn’t see a reference. Is this the 109 Ken Mackenzie literally knocked down, if so there’s an account in his book Hurricane Combat.

It appear that they have taken the plaques as well !

Sadly this is increasingly becoming a common event.

Yes Whittlesford railway station is a short walk or bus ride to the airfield. The added attraction is that the Red Lion is right next door to the station, so you can have a pint of ale before catching your train.

Yes the PRV, as used in the Renault 25 V6 Turbo, the Alpine V6 Turbo and Volvo (264 ?)

I believe Citroen and Peugeot also used the same lump.

IIRC Chapman was involved in some of the design work, maybe suspension, but fell out with De Loren and pulled his support.

The most surprising thing is that Ford produced so many different engines concurrently with similar configurations and overlapping capacities!

    BMW do something similar, there’s the 520, 523, 528, 530, 535, 540 and M5 at one time they also made the 518.
