Why ya think Kermit Weeks buy so many aircraft? His accoutant told him “loose $6million a year”… & Kermit is on record as saying exactly that. Why ya think he based his museum in the middle of Hurricane Alley?

If he was interested in perserving the aircaft he would have put his collcetion somewhere helluva lot safer…..

So he has no interest in the excellent collection that I had the pleasure of viewing last year. And judging by the enthusiastic talk he gave to the gathered audience about the aircraft and the plans he has for the site, he has no real interest in the collection. And judging by the display he put on in the P40 after his talk, he has no interest in flying any of his collection either.

No it isn’t, sponsorship is getting a company’s name up in lights, associated with a particular event and hopefully benefitting from the exposure. It’s not quite the same as an advertising campaign, to which a company requires some form of return or increase in sales.

Can’t say I saw many tents out around the flightline walk this year, maybe they were obscured by the all those annoying aircraft. Or are you referring to those display pilots who walk with light step, wear high heals and have a hand shake like a wet kipper?

I would actualy like to see some of the Legendary tanks drive down the flightline before the show satarts
