Did any more information come to light on the discovery of an Arrow Ejector seat in the UK?

I suspect Mr Salmond has always been aware that there could never be a currency union, he merely wants to make voters resent Westminster for publicly stating it. He has made it all too clear in the past that the Euro is his choice of currency.

I do find the position of the President of the European commission odd though, why wouldn’t they accept Scotland, when they’ve admitted nations with much lower living standards from Eastern Europe?

IMO, this whole thing is being handled terribly, by all parties involved. Nothing is being made clear at all – except for the incompetence of politicians.

I wonder if the P-47 wing could be modified to accommodate 20mm cannon?

The Tempest wing marked improvement, but at altitude it still fell short of its contemporaries because of the Sabre.

    Westland Whirlwind?

The Hurricane made for a stable, well armed ground attack aircraft in its later guises, though it would certainly have needed an escort over northern Europe from 1943 on.

The airline market has changed greatly in the last 40 years, and the A380 has a direct competitor, which the 747 did not.

If anything, Airbus should be overjoyed that their product is selling so well.

There is a rumour, nothing more, that this might include some relaxation – even to the point of paid-for passenger rides provided they are A to A, not A to B, on historics – of the rules.

I hope the chaps at East Kirkby are looking at this :love-struck:

I’m glad that Duxford got such a prominent place. There is something very special about the place, that goes beyond the aircraft on display.

Sorry, I was assuming that some wires had been crossed somewhere, as even the unlikely chance of that happening far outweighs the remote possibility of the CAA allowing a ‘toom to fly in the UK.

I wonder if any pictures survive? You would assume that the testing was well documented.
