We shouldn’t be paying to send them back to their own country, we should be sending them back to the last country they traveled through to get here – usually France.

Well, the story varies depending on the source. Some say he was a consultant during the A10 program, while some sources state that the his book was studied during the design phase.
I understand that Rudel was asked for input on the A10, were any Sturmovik aces involved?
Well done 🙂
It’s not British, it saw service through much of the war, it isn’t a fighter, was twin engined and prop driven.
I’ll give you a clue – it’s layout was fairly unconventional.
Lance corporal David Rawlins?
Nope 🙂 not enough wood for a Mossie 🙂
Yes 🙂

Oh dear! I await innumerable responses from the F-35 lobby claiming that Gripen E would be completely outclassed by F-35 in A2A.
I suppose both have their respective strengths. I would have personally liked the RAF to operate a mixed fleet of Typhoon, Gripen and F35, as the Typhoon and F35 are overkill for many scenarios.
The B17 fuselage looks dinky compared to the Stirling 😀
And I suspect you would find that if a B29 were parked next to a Stirling, the Stirling wouldn’t look small 😀 (assuming the Stirlings undercarriage hadn’t collapsed 😀 )
Congratulations Saab 🙂
Congratulations Saab and Brazil 🙂
Gripen is a fantastic little jet, I bet BAe are kicking themselves for offloading their shares!
And a devastating blow to Dassault, many will be surprised Rafale lost.
tanker is not some thing you want to put a lot of capital expenditure.
On the contrary, the tanker force is a primary component of a nations ability to project force, unless you discount pretty much every major conflict since the Falklands war.
