Just to be the exception that proves the rule… I really like this colour-scheme.

How remiss of Virgin to serve Indian food on a flight from India!
Now, I’ve never been to India but I have it on good authority from friends who have that the food there never resembles our tikka masala or korma. Whilst I’m the first to admit the photos don’t look appetising I’m fairly certain that this menu was aimed at the Indian passengers.
I have flown Virgin on Japanese and Chinese routes and they offer menus from both ends of the route, so I’m assuming this guy could have chosen the British option.
This all leads me to think he’s taking the opportunity to get an upgrade on his next flight or at least a few miles on his Flying Club account. Knowing Bransons love of fun and publicity it’ll probably work too.

PS: IFE screen being knackered is the only reasonable complaint I think this guy had!
It’s not just a case of the airport itself. What would happen with everything west of London that LHR depends on, and depends on LHR?
It’s never going to happen!
It’s easy to “unveil” a project when you know you’ll never have to manage or fund it
Very true.

Do Loganair intend putting Flybe colours on the Twin Otter’s?

Hi Matty, and welcome to the forum. What took you so long to join up?
Those that know me on here know that I love flying on a prop aircraft, it makes a change as I work on jets.
I have flown on BE Q400’s quite a few times now and really like them. Quiet, smooth, spacious and bright. You’ll have great time, and who knows you may have our own Deano at the controls. What brings you down to LGW?

Mandatory retirement age was extended from 60 to 65 years old a little over a year ago.
So what was the story with the (I think) United F/A who famously flew into her 80’s?
would put them in their late eighties…tad ridiculous don’t you think???
I’ll let you know if I’m still flying then (God forbid!).

Most of the cabin crew….. are knocking on the door of retirement
Don’t forget you can’t be made to retire in the US. They may have another 30 years flying in them!
the in-flight dinner ladies!
I quite like that one. It makes a change from Air Hostess which is what a good friend of mine usually calls me!

If they win this lawsuit the world will have officially gone insane!

Why is this news? Medical diversions and deaths, although unfortunate, are not rare.

I think the crime is the not reporting rather than the doing.

Definately US territory as there is a Stars and Stripes flag flying from the roof, but more than that is a mystery to me.

And just to show how times have changed.

With due respect Patsera1 I think your thread title is way off the mark
I have to agree Deano.
Patstera, you have only posted in two threads so far, and in both you have used phrases which have been followed by (no offence). If you don’t mean to cause offence could you please think about the comment you make in the first place. That way I’m sure you’ll find a warm welcome offered by all.
No offence 😉

Pan am are Famous because of flight 103
I thought PanAm were famous because they were one of the world’s longest standing and most respected airlines, who unfortunately, following on from very tragic circumstances, succombed to various business and external problems.
(how stupid(no offense))
It isn’t really the done thing to describe another forum member’s opinions as stupid, especially if you don’t mean to cause offence.
