you need your signature down the bottom or in the corner..it sort of detracts from the shot

The poor old 1-11 is looking a bit sorry for herself, and the Trident isn’t much better. What a shame. 🙁

I love the big old 4 engined tail dragger in the last shot. Can never remember what it is, but a stunning aircraft.

What was the GR ATR doing there?

The anwswer is that the ones who pay with cash, prefer to pay by cash, doh.

Maybe they’ll ask the crew how much grief they got from pax who wanted to pay cash and judge it that way.

OK, a stupid statement from AA I grant you, and I know I only deal with duty free sales rather than snacks and drinks, but if I see pax paying by cash once a week that would be all. I think this is the way most airlines will go before too long.

what if the card reader breaks ?

Just to clarify one point: English is considered the common language throughout the aviation industry. All flight and cabin crew and air traffic controllers should be able to speak English.

Although I doubt this to be true around the globe, it certainly should be true throughout Europe.

Will they receive winglets and what routes will they see action on 1L ??

No idea about the winglets.

Routes being examined as far as I know are CDG ZRH MXP FRA & MAD to JFK.

Just been looking through some bits on the company intranet that suggest two class ‘J and W’ and one class ‘J only’ configs are also being considered. I’ll see what I can find out.

I take it the A321’s will plug the gap in the european schedule then?

I guess you could say that although one of the big plus points of the Airbus fleet is commonality so probably more accurate to say the whole Airbus fleet will ‘plug the gap’.

As an aside the 11th (and for now final) 321 G-EUXM was delivered on Friday. Back onto 320 deliveries now with 20 to arrive between now and 2010, bringing the total ‘new’ Airbus fleet to 81.

Of course I realise that 3DM, what I should have said was the 80’s ‘looking’ logo. Didn’t explain myself too well.

Seems to me like a good opportunity to drag it up to date.

When is British Airways converting the B757 to First Class?

They aren’t. If the 757 mainland Europe-US routes get the go ahead the aircraft will be in a 2 class, Club World and World Traveller config.

On a similar subject, it occurred to me today in GLA that Loganair will be in need of a new livery.

I always liked this one except for the very 80’s tail logo.
