We are planning to hold our annual private fly in and BBQ at a site in Norfolk on August 28th this year.
It normally involves a couple of displays, a competition or two (with trophies) and of course food.
This year we would like to invite a limited number of forum regulars the opportunity to fly in and take part. It will be on a first come, first served basis and full details will be passed to those who get in first.
    PM me if interested.

I’ll be there Mrs Bee Bee…

Doesn’t this fall on the same day as the Little Gransden Children In Need show?

This one is usually first weekend in september……..

    natch!
Plus even if it isnt, a dye pen check to stop your wings falling off may be a sensible precaution – pretty rare to have one go, sea air, hi-G aeros and heavy landings probably exacerbated the situation in the US incident i guess….

Kissimmee is as far from the sea as Brunters is —- watch out for those seagulls…

Looking at the picture, if the Aztec is leading, they are going backwards. Bet you were in the bear tent again Big Nose 🙂

Bear tent or beer tent!!! Think you’ve been on the sauce writing like that 😉

The Aztec WAS leading but then ended up in the slot – rather like one of my formation leads – as you well know…. 😎

Thats cause he is always being naughty! :diablo:

And you should know young lady!!

Aviation wise, I will always remember coming back from Coningsby – him in the Yak leading me in the Pitts in a very tight formation, I didn’t take my eye off YAKO for one second – he called “smoke on!” then soon after “smoke off!”

Turns out it was very naughty of him…

Ask him about it, I wonder if he remembers… 😎

Ones that aren’t in bits……. and with a proper size prop…

    That narrows it down a bit…. 😉

Hmmm!! Three aircraft with the same registration – now that’s a novel formation idea! Everyone can blame each other for being spat out of the turns!
The authorities might find it interesting too and might want to see the aircraft/pilots and offer “appropriate advice”..
    🙂

I fly myself. Anything with wings usually.
Tigers to Spits and most things in between, along with a few one-offs, twitchy single seat taildraggers just to keep the fingers and toes busy!

Which spitfire(s) do you fly?? 🙂
