As for alcohol I believe we have sufficient penalties for the misuse of that if we can find the resources to enforce them. Tobacco My view is as an ex smoker I have paid many times over for the tax I have had extorted by HMG to expect treatment for any damage I have or may have done due to this drug during nearly 60 years of smoking. I started when I was 7 and gave up when I was 66 I am 68 now

Seeing that wee are trundling along on this thread my answers are.
Legalise all drugs for those of 18 or over provided

1 They sign a disclaimer that the NHS will revive them only.

2 No surgery or treatment for problems brought on by drug misuse

3 Any crime caused by dug users is subject to a mandatory 5year minimum prison sentence

4 They are entered on a drugs register and finger printed(to keep tabs on them,get prescriptions and stop them getting treatment away from home)

5 Using dugs will not be allowed as a valid excuse in law to get a lighter sentence.

6 Obviously none of the following doe not apply to those who are prescribed drugs for other illnesses just so calle “recreational drugs”

Anyone found dealing drugs should also have a mandatory term of 10 years to life.
