Yes very sad news RIP. Without castigating the fire service to much I do think they do need retraining at the very least.

I don’t have an imaginary friend despite my schools attempts to make me believe in one. Schools would be better advised to concentrate on the core curriculum of reading writing and arithmetic which seems to be in decline. A better subject to teach would be healthy eating and how to cook basic food and the identification of ingredients.

I would rather call it a tragic incident.
Unfortunately Mike J is right All Museums need paying punters to survive and as much as I admired their original aim it would soon fold if it did not give the public what it wanted. Hopefully any new acquisitions would be pre war British but as long as it is an aircraft of note that can be saved for posterity I for one would not disagree.
