My best car(and I have had some really nice and today expensive classics through the years) was my first car which was a 1950 Standard Vanguard which was in the family from new and given to me when I passed my test at 17. The freedom it gave me I will never forget

For the youngsters it was identical to this including the colour. It was my job every week to clean the chrome and that grill was as sharp as razor blades especially the little flip up bit it the middle where the starting handle went.
