I have very wierd dreams but I live on morphine. As to what they are to use an old saying “Mums the word!”

I will pass on one nightmare though that I have had for about 40 years. It is a man that points a shotgun at me and kills me. I get that about 4-5 times a year.

Anyone out there that can make sense of that?(and I wish they would is not an answer I want!):D

If you want to tell the story of the fallibility of man and the plain and truthful fact that not all returned and people died to ensure our freedom go to the Menin Gate, Tyne Cot, The Armed Forces Memorial, Air Forces Memorial, Runnymede and an endless list of others. The weapons they used are secondary. Probably the most thought provoking thing is the telegraph boy cycling up the street and people hoping he was not going to stop at their house and change their lives for ever.

I ask would anyone want to keep and display a Taliban IED to show what sort of weapon blew someones loved one to pieces? Thats what I think of that Dornier and all axis aircraft! Just my opinion I don’t expect you to share it. Allied aircraft are a different thing they destroyed evil regimes in Germany and Japan and I hope they are preserved and commerorated along with those who died for our freedom. Without their ultimate sacrifice I would probably not be able to write this.

Lets hope some of them know how to reconstitute fresh air into metal, corrosion into metal, salt water into metal ect., and then put a big picture of a Do17 alongside all that, to show to the post war kids, exactly what they are looking at.
Then watch their faces when you tell them, that all that cost £800,000.00 and counting.

Assuming any kids will want to rock up and look at it. I would rather have gone to Alton Towers or play with my X Box(or whatever the latest gadget is) Still it gives the forum something to wet their underwear about I suppose. I wonder what the final bill will be?

At the risk of having racist thrown at me again! I consider the standard of driving I have seen displayed by Eastern Eurpoean drivers as appalling both in cars and trucks.

One tip if you see a truck with Polish or Latvian plate for gods sake stay clear of it!
