Ah yes the logic of Tesco Express. SWMBO wanted a small bottle of red wine for something she was cooking. I saw the sign “Special Offer 2 bottles for £4 ” One bottle was marked at £1.95. I had to do it I bought two and sure enough it came up at £4. I asked the assistant to take one bottle off the bill and it came to £1.95. Good Special Offer for Tesco’s coffers. I asked if they where going to do anything about it. The answer came back “Can’t we only put the cards up!”

May I draw your attention to #8 and #10 on this thread and the dates posted,
Despite that it was advertised as a flyer as late as yesterday! @ duxfordhawk I think you have summed it up rather well.

I think the advertising for this event should be reported to trading standards.
What is the difference from some organisation advertising a concert with say Madonna and Take That and you end up getting Susan Boyle and Val Doonican instead! 😮

I notice they have changed their advertising now. Will they offer a refund to those who specificly wanted to see the original aircraft advertised and who have already purchased a ticket?

So who is it this week that we can pull to pieces my TV guide does not tell me?
My Late Father(who met SDB) sat and watched Reach for the Sky with me and at the end said “Kenneth Moore did not portray that effing p**ck very well.”
As a child I knew when the subject was closed so I knew no more than that or how, when and where he met him. I surmise it was after the war as my Father had just joined the RAF shortly before Bader was shot down.

I hope it does not rain (or even a heavy dew) or the only thing flying will be tempers and insults!
IF the Comet, RE8 and Albatross are definately not flying the advertising is misleading and people who have booked should be refunded if that is their wish.

I have tinitus in one ear(the deaf one) I was going to ask you if you had that as well. With me I find stress can bring attacks on so I know its difficult in life but try and avoid as much of it as you can.

BSG-75 I feel for you with that I to suffer from it and have done so for seven years on and off. The first time was horrific as I just did not know what was happening, double vision and the world revolving and collapsing on the floor in a cold sweat and vomiting(ended up in an ambulance with blues and twos the day before my 60th birthday) had a few bouts since then one not to bad about 3 weeks ago which passed in 20 minutes but left me muzzy headed. I am prescribed SERC 16(Betahistamine) daily which keeps it at bay. If I start to feel it coming on I double the dose and get on the bed till the feeling passes.
The test to see if you are better to drive or trundle about is sit in a chair and tilt your head right back if you are OK it has passed if not you will be on the floor!

Again I am sorry you have this I would not wish it on anybody!
