    One at the front and one round the back might have saved one.Still from what I have heard on the BBC news this creature would probabley got them both anyway and then a standoff with AR units who might have despatched the bu**er

    I am sorry I forgot to say RIP to those two WPC’s who were just doing their job and my condolences to their families.

    As for saying “Who are we to question this choice?” We are the people who pay their wages and look to them for the best service and protection possible.

    Perhaps another survey now saying just “Do you wish to be armed on frontline duty?” might just have a different result,

    The local officer in Cumbria was unarmed and 12 people died when Derrick Bird went on his shooting spree, I wonder if some may have survived if he was armed?

    Some wars have caused by religion undoubtedly but WW1, WW2, Vietnam, Korea, GW1, Boer War, etc. didn’t really have a religious element in the cause.

    Does not the extermination of 6 million Jews in WW2 count as a religious factor?

    #6 I agree with you Moggy. They are relaxing in what they thought was private away from the glare of the goldfish bowl they are subjected to during the rest of the year.
