As this tread has wandered on to bikes now how many of you remember these.

I managed to lay my hands on 10 in the late 50’s at 10 bob each and sold them at 25 shillings each at school.

That was my first excursion into buying and selling!:)

To be honest I have skimmed this report and what I have seen makes pretty damming reading.

Have there been any takers on the rest of the aircraft except the Buc which I think has been sold and has flown(please correct me on that if my memory is playing tricks)

I forgot to add that for once I agree with the interview I saw with David Prescott on BBC1 at lunchtime who ended his interview about the reasons for this “unroar”* with three words “money,money ,money”

*Apparantley out of sixty three million people living in the UK the Press Complaints Comission have received only 60 complaints so far.

Also Prince Harry according to another newspaper has been “torn off a strip” by his Father, the well known adulterer. Glasshouse and stones come to mind.
