Just picking up on this thread. The MP5 issued to plod are not the fully automatic version, but will fire as fast as you can pull the trigger each time.
A good thing in my opinion when being used in our crowded country.
BTW a good amourer could reconvert it in 5 mins.

Nor me just get on with all the cavorting about and “B” off home. I suppose then it will all be about the cost and how much it has made/lost the UK(delete as applicable)

So who exactlly owns the aircraft now?

Is it the Eygptian Government, The RAF, The Americans if its lend lease or is it a case of finders keepers?

I hope its history comes to light and the pilot survived,if not I hope a sweep of the surrounding area would be undertaken so that the remains could/might be found and a funeral with all honours takes place.
