Still people on the forum have said why did he/she not photgraph the aircrafts serial number? This pic does not have the serial either apart from 64. Yes most know its Lady be Good. Its just another bit of war debris to a lot of people.

I passed my motorcycle test at 16(yes you could ride them at that age in 1961)
I passed first time on a 50cc Zundapp like this £25 for it.
    http://buyvintage1.files.wordpress.com/2008/04/zundapp_falconette438_01.jpg?w=470&h=329

The very next day I went and bought a 1950 500cc Vincent Comet like this for £45

    http://www.classic-auctions.com/Images/Report/112B/44986a.jpg

I rapidly worked my way up by some smart trading with my mates to a new Triumph Bonneville.
That was the background to my entry in motorcycling.

Now what happened back then. Their were six of us who went around together like teararses.
Two Died, Two were very seriously injured,me and another survived(god knows how!)
Protective clothing was jeans, leather jacket, white scarf and winkle picker boots.(helmets were for cisseys)

My veiw is anything that keeps youngsters off bikes is a good thing. If that means stiffer tests, high insurance and more regulation on a bikes performance the better. As for those going through the male menopause and getting a big bike for weekends. They should know better(been there and done that as well) but the trouble is most of them think they can ride because they did umpteen years ago and don’t realise that the roads are a very different place now.

BTW sorry for the big pics but i have not worked out how to do thumbnails yet.

It’s an excellent Hustler model and well photographed. But also obviously a model as the depth of field gives it away in all three shots.

Yes it does but placed for effect to show of his work with no intent to deceive anyone. Flicking through a book and without asking if it was fake most people would not spot it. So is the P40 genuine or an elaborate hoax? I don’t know anymore. I want it to be real, but more than that I want to be put out of my suspence!

I shall now go back to building my KC97G!:D

1, Its a boring track. It looks like an overgrown scalex to me.

2It has given the opposition a worldwide platform to publisize their cause

3 Bernie would say that as he trousers the money from one of the most profitable GP,s

So my answer is no to this event taking place. It will unfortunately end in violence and death IMO.
