EELightning I must admit I had a laugh at that as well. Lucky escape for the girlfriend also she could have ended up marrying that Bozo!

The first thing that was ever drummed into me was “Never point a firearm at another person unless you were going to use it!”

Not just aircraft but another desperate act which was virtually useless.

Yes congratulations on your new job! Nice choice of finish for the aircraft as well. Now back to waiting for your updates when you can.

Use a lot of it in our house. The cat comes in from outside to use its litter tray and we like onions. If we could harness the methane I think we could become self sufficient in power in our home!

Talking of “T” class boats HMS Thetis was lost with all hands in 1939. She was them salvaged repaired and renamed HMS Thunderbolt and lost again with all hands in 1943. This makes Thetis one of the few military vessels that have been lost twice with her crew in their service history.

EELightning I could not agree with you more. I would add to that but Moggy already thinks I am a Nazi when I mention some of our neighbours and allies.

I have spent a good deal of my life rescuing cats and trying to find homes for dogs but enough of that or my mouth will get me into trouble!

Brilliant stuff as I said in #2 please keep it coming when you can. This is my favourite thread in the Historic section. I thank you very much for your efforts in posting it all!

There is enough violence still being shown as it is. You and I know what happens if someone is shot through the head at close range and I would not wan’t my Grandchildren to see that. It seems that Spetsnaz are now involved in Ukrainian Uniforms. God help the civilians if that is true.

Red Bull will find a way round the regulations as usual and everyone else will cry unfair. I would love to see that smirking Vettel brought down a peg or two though.

I respect her my school luckily offers a choice of either thumb print or just to get a four didget code

So how does this work Buddy? Do you pay in advance and pay as you dine until your thumbprint is declined at the counter due to the lack of credit and the same for the code or do you get a bill at the end of the week/month or term?

The Buckie would be a good name for the currency(as the name and usage are well known in the UK’s fattest country)
    one Buckie = £1
    one large dram 50p
    small dram 25p
and for small change fried Mars bars half a bar 20p quarter 10p crumbs and fat 2p

To avoid confusion that would be the name of the money only I am not suggesting Scots walk round with the real thing(except in Glasgow on a Saturday night)

I wonder if Mr Salmond has worked out how his NHS will deal with the obesity problem in Scotland, health tourists perhaps?

We sure as hell have not found an answer down here!
